Update
We will be undergoing scheduled maintenance during this time.

Scheduled
On 14th March these security changes will be going live.

Disabling Insecure TLS versions & SSL3
We will be disabling Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 & 1.1 and SSL3 to improve the security of connections and to meet industry standards. Most modern browsers support these as standard and nothing will need to change, however, older unsupported browsers may experience issues when accessing Messenger and would require an up-to-date version.
Textlocal API customers using either of these will need to update servers to support a minimum of TLSv1.2 but ideally the more secure TLSv1.3.

HTTP Requests (deferred to 11th April 2022)
We will no longer be accepting requests over HTTP. Instead, HTTPS will be enforced on all connections to meet industry standards. We advise that you take a review of your integration with us and make the necessary updates so your requests are made over HTTPS. Please note that after 14th March, any non-SSL connections will get a 301 re-direct.
